Misfit Army:

The Misfit Army is a series of paintings responding to the #metoo movement. The response is both personal and cultural. I fantasized about an all women force as a collection of outsiders coming together to march, to witness, to stand guard, to tell their stories and to fight back while also expressing an extreme vulnerability to circumstances beyond their control. The large figures were painted in my studio, while the small ones I drew at home to be collaged in later.
